These rollers are a brilliant way to explore numbers! The rollers create number frames for you to populate with the stamp on the end of the roller. You could create ten train carriages using the roller and count the number of passengers stamped into the carriage windows. You could build on this and remove some, asking how many people had left the train? This would introduce subtraction and word problems. These rollers are a great way model mathematical vocabulary and communication and they’re fun.

The set includes six versatile designs: two traditional number grids; two vertical frames: a beanstalk, and stepping stones; and two horizontal frames: bird boxes and train carriages.
